Emotional Intelligence Essentials

A self-paced, online course from Retexo.

Learn to understand and manage your emotions and those of others, leading to stronger relationships and better decision-making.

Emotional Intelligence (EI) impacts every aspect of our lives, from resolving conflicts with loved ones and supporting friends in need, to navigating team dynamics at work and handling client feedback. Developing EI helps you manage stress, build stronger relationships, and make better decisions, both personally and professionally. Whether you're seeking a promotion, dealing with tight deadlines, or aiming for better work-life balance, enhancing your emotional intelligence can lead to greater success and fulfillment.

We have been taught that we should work to eliminate emotion from our business decisions. Not only would that be a bad idea, it is actually not possible. Our rational thinking and our emotions are both inseparable elements of our overall sense-making process. Instead, we must become aware of our emotions and how they play a vital role in our communication, relationships, and decision-making. This course will help you gain new insights into the complex world of emotion. It will give you new language to understand and work with emotions, and it is a first step to growing your own emotional intelligence.
